Active Constituents Not Requiring Evaluation
The following list generally includes chemicals which have not been primarily developed as agricultural chemicals and thus for which an extensive package of data would not be readily available. Active Constituents in this list do not have an active constituent approval number and are approved under Section 14a of the AgVet Code (external site).
It should be noted that agricultural and veterinary chemical products containing active constituents included in this list must be registered by the APVMA before that product can be legally sold, distributed or used in Australia. Although a chemistry evaluation may not be necessary for these active constituents, the other stages of the registration must still proceed as normal.
