Graduate Development Program
The APVMA's Graduate Program provides a pathway for tertiary graduates to become science professionals operating in a regulatory environment.
The program is designed to give graduates structured exposure to both the operations of the APVMA and the Australian Public Service.
In offering a number of work placement and projects it provides a supportive professional environment where skills can be developed and achievements recognised.
The skills and knowledge graduates obtain through the program will assist in building a foundation for career progression and professional development.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for recent graduates able to demonstrate high-level research, analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills in the following fields:
- agriculture
- parasitology
- toxicology
- plant pathology
- weed science
- biology
- food science and technology
- animal management systems
- horticulture
- rural studies
- biotechnology
- entomology
- forestry
- environment
- human nutrition
- veterinary science.
